Hi guys,
I am the manager of the team in charge of porting poplog to OS X. We have as
a step to get towards the OS X version a version for Linux for PPC (fully
functional as far as we can tell), and a version for Darwin for i86 (left
with at least one assembly related issue to be fixed).
I would appreciate if I could be offered some ftp space available to the
public where we could drop each of these versions - complete with source
code and the little instructions we have. That way, members of the community
interested to take it for a test drive will be able to do so and provide us
with some feedback. As part of the components on the ftp site would also
include some release notes and fixes we would provide over time. I believe
that will be the best way so that we not only offer a version that WE THINK
works, but also that the community can try and have us improve over time in
a centralized and documented fashion.
On the other hand, if someone wants to give a try at fixing the Darwin for
i86 version, help will be welcome and all code necessary to get on it ASAP
will be available.
We look forward to bringing to the community the OS X version before
Christmas.
