Dear Pilippe

This is excellent news.

I have an old laptop (dell latitude Cpt) on which I could install a new
operating system. Can anyone tell me how I get Darwin and whether there
is likely to be any problem if I try to run it on an old laptop?

I could then try the darwin+i86 poplog, if it runs at all with the
assembly problem.

There should be no problem putting it on the bham poplog web site
in these two directories (currently empty)
	http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/research/poplog/darwin+pc
	http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/research/poplog/linux+ppc

If you can put them some place from which I can fetch them I'll
do so. If not I'll find a way for you to upload them.

This is a good idea. I may be able to find a tester or two here in
Birmingham.

Sounds like very good progress.
