There seem to be a few c-shellisms which might be causing you some grief. The
package I put together seems to work reliably, but you need to be running the
Debian 'testing' distribution for it to work. (The new 'stable' will be
relased in the next couple of weeks...)
But you need to provide better error messages. What did it say? When did the
message appear?
