Poplog .deb package works flawlessly with Knoppix 3.6 (I think that's the most
recent version of Knoppix). I've read somewhere (probably in the archives of
this group) that Poplog works much better with Open Motif than with Lesstif,
so I installed libmotif package.

It's very easy to install Knoppix to hard disk, provided there's a free
partition. The script "knx2hd" executed as root only needs a few user
supplied parameters. Most of the hardware is autoconfigured.
