Many thanks to John Duncan for responding to my call for testers and
finding a serious typo in my instructions
> Install poplog in preferred mode in preferred directory.
> Recommended command for most people:

> ./INSTALL_POPLOG motif bham default > install.log
This should have been:
> ./INSTALL_BHAM_LINUX_POPLOG motif bham default > install.log
The mistake was also in the instructions printed out by running the
script without arguments, and was also in the file
http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/research/poplog/v15.6/AREADME.txt
Now fixed in both places.
Apologies to anyone inconvenienced by this.
