Announcement: Poplog on AMD64

I have an experimental port of Poplog to AMD64.  The port is available
at

http://www.math.uni.wroc.pl/~hebisch/poplog/amd64-poplog.html

It is a patch on top of Birmingham distribution (see instructions
at the page above).  The system recompiles itself and generates
saved images for pop11, clisp, prolog, pml. X works (I tried both
Lesstiff and X toolkit). 

All things I tried works, but note that the port is quite fresh
so do expect bugs.
