A colleague at Sussex has been using Ved for many years for writing
papers and books, and now can only get at it via a mac, because that is
all that the local support staff will support.
She logs through from the Mac, either at home via broadband or from the
Mac in her office, and runs ved OK (not XVed, which she has never used).
I assume someone has managed to get the mac to simulate an xterm window
for her.
Everything works OK except for function keys (and the fact that the
stupid mac keyboard has no hash (#) key.
I know nothing about macs and don't have access to one to try out.
Would the function keys transmit escape sequencs that Ved can use?
Has anyone got Ved working that way with function keys doing something
sensible?
If so, I'd be grateful for the code for telling Ved what to do with
sequences sent by Mac function keys.
