I would far rather always use my normal editor (Ved) than have to use a
wysiwyg interface.

That is provided by a mailing list.

Is it possible to link a google group to a mailing list?

I don't know that there are enough users who look at any kind of forum.
Very few of the students
here in Birmingham who are using pop11/poplog seem to join the email
list or post to comp.lang.pop

The most knowledgeable people all seem to be overworked on other
things.

I don't know any good answer.

The link between the rest of the world and Birmingham (news) broke
again receintly.

So messages posted to comp.lang.pop did not reach Birminham and were
not forwarded
to the pop-forum list. The news server has been restarted, but the fact
that it had stopped
for some time, yet again, without anyone complaining is an indication
of lack of use.
